♦ Many believe that Santa dates back to 270 AD, which would make him over 1,000 years old. It’s the mysterious magic of Christmas that keeps Santa alive and well.
♦ There was a poem written in 1823 by someone who claimed they knew Santa. They provided a description of him in this poem. They identified him as a Jolly old elf with cheeks like roses, his nose like a cherry and a little round belly that shook when he laughed like a bowl full of Jelly.

♦ It is believed that Santa and his elves work tirelessly all year to not only make toys for boys and girls, but to monitor the behavior and make sure only the good kids get gifts come Christmas morning.
