Today I am going to share some amazing ladybug facts for kids! Ladybugs are one of my favorite insects, for a very personal reason!
I have always really liked ladybugs. I remember the first time I really started liking this insect. I had a rose bush that was being overtaken by aphids. I went to a garden store to ask for advice, the clerk told me I could use some chemical to get rid of them, or I could buy a box of ladybugs to release near my rose bush. He told me that the ladybugs would eat the aphids and other harmful insects to my rosebush. This was a fascinating solutions so I decided to go that route.
My daughter had so much fun helping me release the ladybugs all over our yard and plants. Ladybugs are pretty amazing insects, I hope that you enjoy all of the cool and fun ladybug facts for kids that I am going to share with you today. ♦I mentioned this above a little bit, but let’s hit on it again! Ladybugs can consume up to 5000 aphids in it’s life cycle! They are welcomed guests in any garden and consume many of the critters that are harmful to your plants. They eat aphids, white flies and mites. It’s possible to consume over 50 aphids in 1 day for a hungry adult ladybug.

Their distinctive spots and bright colors are used to make them less attractive to any predators. Ladybugs look like a half of a sphere or circle, also small, dappled and round or oval shaped. No two ladybugs eat the same thing, they all have
