Yes, there was a news story that broke today. A woman was at her home eating a banana. She noticed a grey spot on the outside of the banana peel and thought it was mold. She then took a closer look and saw baby spiders crawling out of the “mold”. Turns out the mold spot was not mold at all, but an egg sack. She sent the picture to her local exterminator and they identified the tiny spiders as Brazilian Wandering Spiders. They are very deadly which obviously freaked this woman out. The market in which she purchased them from put her in a hotel and had her house fumigated. Talk about heebie jeebies!
