Qixels Glow In The Dark Fuse N’ Dry Review
If you are familiar with the concept of Perler beads, then you know a little bit about how Qixels toys work. The neat thing however, with Perler beads, you will need to iron the beads to fuse. This makes it a little more dangerous, and typically adds a step where a parent must intervene. The nice thing about Qixels, is they fuse with water only. You simply spray on some water and let

them dry and they fuse.
Depending on which Qixels toy kit you purchase, they will come with different templates for you to follow and put your beads together. Unlike Perler beads, they beads with Qixels are more of a square shape, making them look like pixels or Qixels. They resemble Minecraft type art.
We purchased the kit that came with the fuse blaster (little squirt gun) and Turbo Dryer (a spinner to knock off the water). Truth be told, you don’t absolutely need either of these to do Qixel art. You can simple add some water and let them dry. The fuse blaster does make it much easier, but the Turbo Dryer is more just fun for the kids and speeds up the drying process. You can actually buy kits that don’t have these accessories.

The Qixels design creator kit is a lot of fun for the kids. The templates the kits come with are just the beginning of the wonderful designs your children will come up with. It’s a very simple toy that I strongly recommend picking up. They are pretty affordable but will have your kids using their brains and will get them wanting to do something other than sit in front of the TV or playing video games.
